She may have flown into France just hours earlier, but Heidi Klum looked anything but jet-lagged as she arrived on the red carpet on Thursday evening.
The German supermodel, 39, looked glowing as she turned on the glamour in a retro-styled ensemble at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Nebraska.
The Project Runway star showed off plenty of skin in a daring '80s style asymmetrical Versace gown with gem-studded detailing.

She teamed her striking ensemble with flicked waves, Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and a pair of silver high-heeled sandals.
Heidi ended up travelling to the Croisette via speedboat after checking into the Hôtel du Cap-Eden Roc several miles away.
During her boat trip, she posed for a photo on her cameraphone, uploading it to Twitter, saying: 'Such a beautiful day in Cannes!'

Nebraska is a new drama from director Alexander Payne, starring Bruce Dern, Will Forte, Bob Odenkirk, June Squibb and Stacy Keach.
Supporting the movie's leading man Bruce, 76, at the screening was his actress daughter Laura.
The Jurassic Park star, 46, may have been influenced by the release of The Great Gatsby due to her choice of 1920s-esque fringed gown.

Also in attendance was Cannes juror Nicole Kidman, who wore a striking Valentino gown.
The Australian actress arrived on the red carpet with director Ang Lee, who is also on the jury.
The film, which is shot in black and white, has received good reviews so far during the festival.

Nebraska tells the story of a Montana father and son, who go on a road trip to Nebraska to claim prize money.
The film focuses on their journey, their relationship and the people they meet up along the way.
Payne's previous film The Descendents was a big hit in 2011, scoring a Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar and two Golden Globes, including Best Actor and Best Picture (Drama) for George Clooney.
