The acting duo attended the Los Angeles premiere of their final installment on Tuesday night.

Julie, 43, wore a bright red, floor-length lace dress that lit up her fair complexion.

Her ever-blonde locks were curled away from her face as a red lip matched her gown.

Ethan, 42, was handsome in a navy suit with a grey button-down tucked underneath.

Before Midnight centres on Jesse (Ethan) and Celine (Julie), who first met in the original 1995 film.

Fast forward to 2013, and the pair have gone through separation while still longing for each other.

The two finally come together for the final movie.

According to Deadspin, the last in the trilogy 'is largely devoted to what comes after true love, after a big romantic gesture in the name of human connection ends, once the white-hot passion that had been denied for so long fades and reality forces its way in.'

The Village Voice warns fans of the previous films to 'proceed with armor' before watching the film.

However harsh the reality of the movie, the stars were happy to be reunited on the carpet one last time.
